Ken Stringfellow in Ken: The Movie
This is a story I have found out yesterday that excites me greatly. One of my musical heroes, and all time favorite musicians, Ken Stringfellow, has announced recently that he is working with French filmmaker Claudia Rorarius on a movie project in which he plays a fictional musician named Ken who loses his state of mind after many failed shows during a tour in the US, and through many repressed memories and a nervous breakdown, he sets out to reach back into his troubled childhood and find his birth mother again.
A release date hasn't been set for the film yet, and from what I am seeing on Claudia's Tumblr, there doesn't seem to be anything else besides the plot for the movie, and details about the making of the film itself. I guess we'll have to wait and see how the movie plays out.

Whole Lotta Love vs. Helter Skelter
Now, I'm usually not that big on mashups, but this actually caught my eye, or ear. Remix artist "Soundhog" takes both "Helter Skelter" by the Beatles, and "Whole Lotta Love" and uses the multitrack stems from both songs (Mainly the vocals and bass from Helter Skelter and the instrument tracks of Whole Lotta Love.) to bring the two together to create this energetic remix that brings so much amusement to me. It kinda makes me wonder what what a heavier version of the Beatles would've been like....
