Today's song comes from a very well known band, with a very well know artist tied to their name. "Monkey Wrench" was released as the first single from the Foo Fighters' first album "The Colour and the Shape" on April 28th, 1997. The lyrics were about lead singer Dave Grohl's 4 year marriage to Jennifer Youngblood. Dave Grohl also performed the drum track to the song, instead of the band's current drummer Taylor Hawkins, who appears in the music video for the song.
